Acoustic art panels are decorative wall pieces built from sound-absorbing material, so the pattern, shape and color you see are also the acoustic surface. What makes a wall panel an acoustic art panel

Two conditions separate this category from ordinary decor. The visible surface is sound-absorbing material, and the pattern or outline is cut or engraved into that material instead of printed onto a hard backing.
Compared with common framed or canvas wall art, which adds visual interest but has no absorbing core, an acoustic art panel gives the wall both. Compared with standard wood slat panels, which follow a straight-slat format, PET art panels can take circular, wave or other non-rectangular outlines.

Six pattern formats worth specifying

1. Engraved V-slot lines. BEIEN’s Engraved V-Slot PET-Paneele are made of 100% PET (polyester fiber) with customized V-slot patterns, panel dimensions and color combinations. You supply the geometry. Slot spacing and depth are confirmed per model.
2. Color combinations. The catalog lists more than 40 standard colors (BP-01 to BP-54 references), plus Pantone or RAL matching and custom colors.
3. Circular modules. Circular shapes sit in the Irregular PET Acoustic Panels line, useful for clustered wall compositions.
4. Wave outlines. Wave-shaped panels follow the same line, and suit walls where a straight edge looks too rigid.
5. Geometric forms. Geometric shapes and non-standard dimensions are both listed as customization options.
6. Custom patterns. Custom patterns are listed for the irregular line. Whether a specific illustration or brand mark can be reproduced depends on line width and depth, so it is checked against your drawing rather than promised in advance.

What speaks for these panels, and what doesn’t

On the positive side, PET felt production and CNC cutting both happen in BEIEN’s own factory, so one supplier handles the material and the cut shape, and the ±0.3 mm cutting tolerance applies to that in-house process. Color matching to Pantone or RAL also keeps an art panel aligned with a wider interior palette.

The limits are more specific:

• Acoustic role. As a general principle, porous absorbers like felt work in proportion to thickness and covered area. A few feature pieces will change the look of a large room far more than its reverberation, so acoustic consultants should size coverage separately from the art layout.
• Accessories. BEIEN‘s hangers and shelves are guaranteed only for its wood acoustic panels, not for PET art panels. Mounting for PET pieces needs its own confirmation.
• Commercial terms. MOQ is set by product and customization level. The publicly stated lead time of about 7 to 15 working days depends on quantity and customization, and is reconfirmed in each quotation.
• Price. Pricing is quotation-based and depends on the panel type, dimensions, thickness, surface finish, fire-performance requirements, customization level, packaging, order quantity, and shipping terms.

How to brief a custom piece

1. Define the wall area and the coverage the acoustic consultant needs, before any pattern work.
2. Choose a thickness from the catalog range (9, 12, 15 or 24 mm) and note whether a fire class is required.
3. Pick colors by BP reference, or give Pantone or RAL codes.
4. Draw the pattern or outline with real dimensions, including slot spacing if V-slots are involved.
5. Ask for the fire and absorption documents that match your exact configuration.
6. Request a quotation, and confirm MOQ and lead time for that configuration in writing.
